Together for Eternity

The lineart for this one was done using a tablet, but I used a mouse for the colouring. I'd been inspired by the soft and gentle qualities in 's work, so I decided to attempt a new way to colour it - this involved using the dodge and burn tools. I'm quite happy with the way that it turned out, though I would have liked to have spent a little more time on it (stupid coursework deadlines ). I had originally thought about drawing their toys sitting in front of them, holding hands too...Who knows, I may add that in the future.
I must also note that I used one of the images of Near sitting in the Manga as a reference (I can't remember what page it was from). He sits in a really unique way, and I wanted to get that right.
